We Did It! COG Blood Drive
We aimed high and we achieved higher!
COG Aggregation and Platform Finance launched its corporate partnership with Lifeblood in February 2024, forming Team COG Aggregation and holding our inaugural 5 month Blood Drive. The #AssetFinanceBloodDrive is now an annual event on our calendar and we thank all our staff and external asset finance partners who have registered as life saving donors.
During the COG Blood Drive, the COG and Platform Lifeblood Team helped save 336 lives, surpassing our extended goal of saving 250 lives. Together we really made a difference.

46% of our team were first-time donors! An amazing achievement compared to other Blood Drives, according to Lifeblood.
Four donors donated more than five times throughout the drive.
One of our donors donated nine times in five months (plasma and blood).

How do you join the team?
1. Check blood donation eligibility by undertaking an eligibility quiz at www.donateblood.com.au/eligibility
2. If you don’t already have one, register an individual account or log in at www.Lifeblood.com.au. Simply click the Login/Register button on the top right of the homepage. You don’t need to have donated yet to do this.
3. Once you’re logged in, go to the My Details menu at the top and click on Manage Preferences.
4. Next to the Lifeblood Team heading, start typing “COG Aggregation”. When the team appears in the supplied options, click on it and at the bottom of the page click Save Updates.
5. Make a booking at your local donor centre online my.donateblood.com.au/app/appointments/location
