At COG Aggregation, protecting our broker information and maintaining the security of our systems remain among our highest priorities.
Security is foundational to how we design, build, and operate our services. Protecting client data is not a reaction to industry events – it is a continuous commitment embedded into our systems and culture.
DATA SECURITY AND SAFEGUARDS
We understand the trust our brokers place in us, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our business has implemented comprehensive security measures to safeguard sensitive data, prevent unauthorised access, and ensure operational continuity.
These measures include:
Secure data encryption (in transit and at rest)
Secure cloud configuration aligned to best practice standards
Strict access controls following the least privilege principle
Continuous infrastructure monitoring and threat detection
A structured Incident Response Plan to manage and contain potential events
Regular independent penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities
Ongoing staff training in privacy, cybersecurity best practices, and phishing simulations
ONGOING REVIEWS AND UPDATES
Security is not a one-time implementation – it is an ongoing process. We regularly review and strengthen our controls to remain aligned with evolving industry standards and emerging threats.
While no organisation can guarantee immunity from cyber risk, our approach is built on resilience. We maintain robust detection and response procedures to quickly identify, contain, and mitigate potential incidents, minimising impact and restoring operations swiftly. Transparency and accountability remain central to how we operate.
COG CONNECT
Our leading asset finance client management and loan processing platform, COG Connect, is supported by the same robust cybersecurity framework that underpins our broader business operations. These protections also extend to the NFC/UFS Horizon2 system, ensuring consistent security standards across both platforms.
Both systems are designed with security at their core, incorporating secure authentication protocols, controlled user access, encrypted data handling, and continuous system monitoring.
COG Brokers can work with confidence, knowing that their client information in COG Connect and Horizon2 is protected by layered security measures focused on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
